Kuwait, Pakistan seek to enhance military ties

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: Major General (Pilot) Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, held discussions on Monday with Lieutenant General Sahir Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The talks focused on key issues of mutual interest, particularly in the military domain, and explored ways to enhance and develop cooperation between the two friendly nations. According to a press statement by the General Staff, Major General Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad hosted Lieutenant General Mirza and his accompanying delegation during their official visit to Kuwait. The visit included an official reception ceremony to welcome the Pakistani delegation. Lieutenant General Mirza toured Mubarak Al-Abdullah College for Command and Joint Staff during his visit. He received a comprehensive briefing on the college’s role in training and preparing military leaders, as well as its academic and training programs designed to strengthen leadership skills and improve the operational capabilities of officers.
