Kuwait Opens Registration for Vacant Hajj Seats, Sets Five-Day Deadline

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 11: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced the opening of registration for vacant Hajj seats for the 1447 AH season, targeting Kuwaiti citizens who are already registered on the Hajj platform but have not yet been nominated and still wish to perform Hajj.

In a statement issued by the ministry said applicants must approach Hajj campaigns directly and submit their requests within five days of the announcement. Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to those who complete the required procedures and pay the fees.

The ministry also stressed that once registration is confirmed and payment is made to the campaign, the fees will be non-refundable. It noted that the conditions come in light of current circumstances, the approaching deadline for issuing Hajj permits, and the availability of remaining seats with Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns.
