TOKYO, Sept 1: The Kuwait Olympic Committee held an orientation meeting two days ago for representatives of sports federations and committees, as well as athletes preparing to compete at the 20th Asian Games, Aichi-Nagoya 2026, in Japan from September 19 to October 4.

Kuwait Olympic Committee Director General, retired Major General Mohammed Saeed Al-Khalfan, attended the meeting and highlighted the importance of Kuwait’s participation in the major continental sporting event.

Al-Khalfan urged federations, committees, and athletes to give their best, work hard, and represent Kuwait in an honorable manner. He also called on them to aim for strong results, podium finishes, and a good medal haul.

The meeting addressed key organizational and technical matters related to Kuwait’s participation, along with procedures and guidelines designed to help ensure the smooth operation of the Kuwaiti delegation throughout the Games.
