KUWAIT CITY, May 20: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) remains committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence, according to an official document obtained by the newspaper. This is part of the strategy of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries to develop production quality, improve operational facilities, respect the environment, ensure safety and security, and promote a healthy work environment. It will be accomplished through the optimal utilization of hydrocarbon resources, efficient inventory management, and continuous strategic cost efficiencies related to the production and export of oil and gas products in line with the 2040 strategy. The aim is to ensure sustainable operations that maximize the profitability of the oil sector and contribute to the prosperity of the State of Kuwait.
The document affirmed the commitment of KOC to the following:
- Continuous innovation, improving operational efficiency and maximizing system effectiveness,
- Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to support growth and enhance operational efficiency,
- Respecting the environment, ensuring safety and security, and promoting a healthy work environment in all work sites,
- Adhering to the highest standards of ethics, respect and integrity,
- Protecting assets, information and intellectual properties.
It has been revealed that the vice presidents of KOC held intensive meetings with the Commercial and Project Engineering Department, Gas and Environment Department, and Administrative and Financial Affairs Department to express gratitude to the national staff for their contributions in overcoming the challenges the country faced, encourage all groups to strengthen communication with other departments and continue providing support, and review the performance in the final quarter of the 2025/2026 fiscal year.
Executive Vice President for Commercial and Project Engineering Musaed Al-Rasheed, chaired the performance review meeting of the department for the fourth and final quarter of the 2025/2026 fiscal year. The meeting, held at the headquarters of the company, was attended by all group managers, team leaders, and senior staff.
The planning team organized and managed the agenda. Executive Vice President for Gas and Environment Amina Rajab chaired a meeting for the same purpose.
The meeting included a presentation summarizing the status of the Quality Management System audit. Rajab emphasized the importance of completing all pending procedures and ensuring full readiness for upcoming external audits. Executive Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Waleed Al-Rabeean chaired a similar meeting that included a review of the performance indicators of the department for the final quarter of the current fiscal year, discussion of achievements and priorities, problems and challenges, strategies for overcoming them and finding plausible solutions to realize the objectives of the company.
