Kuwait Navy to hold live-fire drills; public urged to stay clear

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The Kuwaiti Naval Forces will carry out live ammunition shooting exercises at the marine shooting range on Monday and Tuesday, the Army’s Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate announced Saturday.

The drills will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the statement said, at the designated marine shooting range located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julai’a, extending to Qaruh Island, and six nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, reaching up to Umm Al-Maradim Island.

The directorate urged citizens and residents who frequent the sea to avoid the specified areas during the announced period to ensure public safety.
