Kuwait Navy to conduct live-fire drills near Failaka Island from Sept 13 to 30

KUWAIT CITY: The Kuwait Armed Forces’ Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations announced that the Kuwait Navy will conduct live-fire exercises in the waters around Failaka Island from Sept 13 to 30, 2026.

The Directorate urged citizens and residents who engage in boating, fishing and other marine recreational activities to stay away from the designated exercise areas throughout the announced period.

The warning was issued as a precaution to ensure the safety of all sea-goers during the military exercises.

Authorities called on the public to comply with the safety instructions and avoid approaching the affected areas while the live-fire exercises are underway.
