Kuwait National Guard Neutralizes Drone to Protect Vital Sites

Kuwait National Guard releases servicemen serving disciplinary sentences for Eid Al-Adha.

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 13: : The Kuwait National Guard announced the downing of a drone in one of the areas secured by its task forces.

In a statement, the National Guard’s official spokesperson, Jad'an Fadel Jad'an, said the drone was intercepted and brought down within the areas of responsibility under the “Task Force” operations.

He added that the action comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security, protect vital sites and confront potential threats.

Authorities did not provide further details regarding the drone’s origin or the exact location of the incident.
