Kuwait National Guard Foils Aerial Threats

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 17: The Kuwait National Guard announced on Tuesday that its task force successfully shot down a drone and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) within areas under its security responsibility.

In a press statement, the Guard’s official spokesman, Brigadier General Dr. Jad’an Fadel, said the operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures, safeguard vital installations, and counter potential threats.

He urged the public to follow all security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Fadel also emphasized that the National Guard, working in coordination with the Kuwait Armed Forces, the Kuwait Police, and the Kuwait Fire Force, remains fully prepared to respond to any threats. He stressed that security forces stand ready to firmly confront any attempt to undermine the country’s safety, while protecting Kuwait’s sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
