KUWAIT CITY, Mar 7: The Kuwait National Guard said its forces have shot down a drone at one of the sites under its responsibility while providing support to the Kuwait Ministry of Defense, as part of efforts to safeguard key facilities and counter potential threats.

In a statement, the National Guard said the action was taken to enhance security and protect vital installations. It urged the public to comply with safety and security instructions issued by the competent authorities.

The force added that it remains on high alert in coordination with the Kuwait Army, Kuwait Police, and the Kuwait Fire Force to respond to any threats that could undermine the country’s security and stability.

The National Guard affirmed its readiness to confront any attempts to target the nation’s sovereignty and to protect Kuwait’s interests and national capabilities.
