KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Kuwait National Guard announced that its task forces have successfully intercepted and downed 46 drones and six unmanned aerial vehicles since the start of what it described as ongoing Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait.
Speaking during a media briefing, spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel said the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Engineering Battalion has also dealt with 42 reports involving rocket remnants and shrapnel across various locations in the country.
He added that the National Guard has secured 67 vital sites as part of an integrated system aimed at protecting key infrastructure and maintaining national security.
Officials emphasized that efforts remain ongoing to safeguard the country and ensure the protection of critical facilities amid current regional developments.
