Kuwait National Guard releases servicemen serving disciplinary sentences for Eid Al-Adha.
KUWAIT CITY, March 27: The National Guard announced on Friday that two unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were successfully intercepted and downed at sites under the responsibility of a designated task force, as part of heightened security measures across the country.
Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel Jadaan, the official spokesperson for the National Guard, said in a press statement that the operation reflects ongoing efforts to safeguard vital installations and counter potential threats.
He emphasized that the National Guard, working in close coordination with the army, police, and the General Fire Force, remains on high alert and fully prepared to respond decisively to any security challenges.
Authorities urged citizens and residents to strictly follow all safety and security instructions issued by relevant agencies.
The spokesperson reaffirmed the commitment of Kuwait’s security forces to maintaining national stability, protecting sovereignty, and ensuring the safety of key infrastructure and public interests amid evolving regional tensions.
