KUWAIT CITY, April 10: Senior leadership of the Kuwait National Guard visited injured personnel at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital following injuries sustained during a hostile drone incident at one of the Guard’s sites.
His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Commander of the National Guard, met with the injured who were hurt while responding to a fire caused by the drone strike, praising their courage and dedication in carrying out their national duties. He emphasized that their actions reflect the spirit of responsibility and commitment of National Guard personnel in safeguarding the country.
In a separate visit, Major General Hamad Salem Al-Burjis, also Deputy Commander of the National Guard, checked on the condition of personnel injured in the same incident and conveyed the leadership’s wishes for their speedy recovery. He received detailed briefings from medical teams on their health status and ongoing treatment.
Both officials reaffirmed the National Guard’s commitment to ensuring comprehensive care for its personnel, highlighting that their safety and well-being remain a top priority, while commending the efforts of medical staff providing treatment.
