KUWAIT CITY, Sep 7: Kuwait Municipality has renewed its call for citizens and property owners to comply with regulations governing construction, demolition, restoration and the disposal of debris at designated sites, warning against dumping rubble and construction waste in squares, roads and in front of properties.
The municipality said its safety teams conduct daily inspections across the six governorates to monitor construction sites, ensure compliance with regulations and protect neighboring properties and public safety. As part of its awareness campaign titled “Build, Don’t Destroy,” the municipality urged owners to remove debris from in front of their properties and warned that violations could result in fines and other penalties. It also called on property owners to follow its official social media accounts for guidance and contact the municipality regarding regulatory requirements.
