KUWAIT CITY, Apr 28: Kuwait Municipality has issued 90 violations during a recent inspection campaign in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, targeting breaches related to commercial licensing and display of advertising regulations.
According to the Public Relations Department, the Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services carried out a field inspection drive across several areas to verify compliance with health and advertising licenses for shops and businesses. The campaign also aimed to ensure that establishments adhere to municipal regulations governing commercial activities and pricing display.
Inspection teams identified multiple violations during the operation, which included displaying advertisements without proper permits, adding promotional materials related to business activities without authorization, and failing to renew existing advertising licenses. A total of 90 violations were recorded, and necessary regulatory action was taken against offenders on-site.
Officials stated that the campaign is part of a broader enforcement plan designed to strengthen compliance across all governorates. Additional inspection drives are scheduled in the coming weeks, following a structured timetable prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with relevant municipal units.
The municipality emphasized that these ongoing field campaigns aim to enhance regulatory discipline and ensure that all commercial establishments operate within approved legal frameworks.
