KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: Municipal inspection campaigns aimed at monitoring and removing encroachments on state-owned property have resulted in the dismantling of illegal prefabricated livestock pens in the Kabd area.
The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality said that inspection teams have intensified their field patrols across all governorates under the direction and on-site supervision of the Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Engineer Manal Al-Asfour, and in coordination with the Ministry of Interior.
According to the department, inspectors identified several violations involving prefabricated livestock enclosures, locally known as “Kirby” structures, which had been unlawfully erected on state property. These illegal structures were subsequently removed as part of the enforcement campaign.
The Public Relations Department stressed that municipal teams will continue their field inspections to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. It urged violators to cooperate with authorities and promptly remove any infringements, warning that failure to do so would result in legal action.
