Kuwait Municipality Removes Illegal Structures Near Military Sites in Ahmadi

KUWAIT CITY, April 10: Supervisory teams from the Kuwait Municipality have removed 25 illegal structures, including shanties, camps, and unauthorized water tankers, during inspection campaigns in the Al-Ahmadi Governorate.

The operation targeted areas near military sites in the southern part of the country and was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior.

Authorities said the move is part of ongoing efforts to enforce regulations, maintain public safety, and protect sensitive areas. The campaign aims to prevent unauthorized encroachments and ensure compliance with municipal laws, particularly in areas near strategic and military facilities.

Officials reaffirmed that inspection tours will continue across the governorate to address violations and uphold security and order.
