Kuwait Municipality team removes abandoned vehicles during clean-up drive in Mubarak Al-Kabeer
KUWAIT CITY, Apr 29: The Public Cleaning and Road Occupancy Department at Kuwait Municipality has intensified its inspection campaigns across Farwaniya Governorate, targeting violations related to public cleanliness, road occupancy, and illegal street vending, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior’s Public Security sector.
As part of the ongoing campaign, inspection teams issued 57 violations related to cleaning and street vendor regulations, along with 72 warnings and 33 written pledges. Authorities also affixed 512 warning stickers on non-compliant sites.
In addition, enforcement teams removed 71 abandoned vehicles and mobile food trucks from various locations across the governorate as part of efforts to eliminate visual pollution and ensure public safety and order.
Municipal authorities said the campaigns will continue across all areas to address illegal practices and maintain cleanliness standards in residential and commercial zones.
