KUWAIT CITY, May 18: Kuwait Municipality said its supervisory team from the Public Hygiene and Road Encroachment Department has recorded 10 violations related to illegal road encroachment in the Hawally Governorate, where an unlicensed space was being exploited in front of commercial premises.

The municipality announced the completion of its fourth inspection campaign carried out by cleaning and inspection teams across all six governorates, focusing on monitoring road encroachment violations and the unauthorized use of public spaces in front of shops and commercial complexes.

According to the Public Relations Department, the Hawally inspection drive aimed to identify violations, take immediate regulatory action against offenders, and ensure compliance with municipal regulations governing public hygiene and road use.

Officials said field inspections will continue across the country as part of ongoing efforts to regulate public spaces, stressing that strict legal action will be taken against any party found violating the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy regulations.
