KUWAIT CITY, Apr 20: The Kuwait Municipality has announced the sale of abandoned vehicles and is currently located at its vehicle impound lot in Al-Na’ayem. Bids for auction are invited by submitting them in sealed envelopes. The auction covers multiple sites across designated blocks, with interested parties able to obtain tender documents from the Financial Affairs Department at the municipality’s main office upon payment of a KD 75 non-refundable fee.
The inspection period runs from the date of announcement until April 23, 2026, during official working hours at the Al-Na’ayem scrap yard site. Bids must be submitted between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, at the Financial Affairs Department building, where envelopes will be opened immediately after the submission deadline. Officials said certified checks payable to the Kuwait Municipality are required, urging bidders to comply strictly with the stated procedures.
