KUWAIT CITY, June 18: Kuwait Municipality announced the launch of its new awareness campaign titled “Our Beaches Are Beautiful,” aimed at promoting the responsibility of preserving the cleanliness of the marine environment.

The municipality highlighted in a press statement on Wednesday that the campaign focuses on fostering community participation to protect the beauty of Kuwait’s islands and maintain their beaches free from pollution. As part of the campaign, roadside advertisements have been installed across all governorates to spread the message to visitors and residents alike.

The campaign emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness, showcasing the ongoing efforts of cleaning teams, and encouraging the proper disposal of waste to protect marine life and the environment on Kuwait’s picturesque islands.

A total of 97 mobile advertisements have been deployed to reinforce these messages. The municipality also called on citizens and residents to cooperate with oversight bodies and adopt responsible behaviors to ensure the continued cleanliness of the beaches and safeguard the marine and wildlife ecosystems.
