Kuwait Municipality Issues 250 Violations for Shops in Ahmadi Inspection Drive

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 5: The Kuwait Municipality carried out inspection campaigns in Al-Ahmadi Governorate during March, issuing 250 violations after inspecting 345 shops, according to the Kuwait Municipality.

The Public Relations Department said the tours were conducted by the Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services in Al-Ahmadi to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and licensing rules.

Officials said violations included failure to maintain price tags, operating businesses after license expiry, and adding unlicensed promotional prices linked to commercial activities.

The municipality added that inspection teams will continue field campaigns across the governorate and warned shop owners to comply with regulations to avoid penalties.
