Kuwait Municipality urges strict safety compliance in construction sites.
KUWAIT CITY, Apr 12: The Kuwait Municipality has issued 13 safety warnings following inspection campaigns targeting construction and renovation sites in Farwaniya Governorate.
In a statement, the municipality’s Public Relations Department said supervisory teams from the safety department conducted field tours across multiple locations to monitor ongoing construction work, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and identify violations.
The inspections, part of wider efforts covering all six governorates, focused on verifying that contractors adhere to safety standards and implementing legal measures against violators.
Officials said the Farwaniya safety team carried out intensive campaigns to detect breaches, stressing that strict action will be taken against those failing to comply with established safety systems.
The municipality added that the field tours led to the inspection of 20 sites, resulting in 13 warnings issued for safety-related violations.
Authorities emphasized that such campaigns will continue as part of ongoing efforts to enhance compliance, protect public safety, and regulate construction activities across Kuwait.
