Kuwait Municipality Gives Two-Week Grace Period to Remove Encroachments on State Property

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 21: Kuwait Municipality has announced a final two-week grace period for violators to remove all encroachments on state property before the launch of a comprehensive removal campaign across the country’s governorates.

The grace period begins on Monday, June 22, 2026 , and will run until July 6, 2026 , the Municipality said.

The move comes as part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to remove encroachments and informal settlements, protect state property, and enforce regulations in all governorates.

According to the Municipality, a comprehensive field campaign will begin immediately after the grace period ends to monitor and remove all forms of illegal use of state-owned land and property.

Kuwait Municipality urged all violators to cooperate fully and take the initiative to remove any violations within the specified period. It said the measure is intended to serve the public interest, protect state property, and help violators avoid legal action and penalties.
