KUWAIT CITY, June 19: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality stated that the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department in Farwaniya Governorate conducted a field inspection to identify violations related to unauthorized bachelor accommodations.
During the campaign, the inspection teams confirmed compliance with the relevant regulations and took legal action against violators. As a result of the inspection, power was disconnected from 16 properties in the Firdous area that were found to be in violation of housing regulations for bachelors.
The municipality noted that prior warnings were issued to the property owners, and the specialized inspection team carried out on-site visits before enforcing the necessary measures.
