KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Kuwait Municipality announced Monday that the Audit and Municipal Services Monitoring Department in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate carried out a field inspection campaign to verify the validity of health and advertising licenses of commercial establishments and to take regulatory action against violators.

Yousef Al-Ajiman, Supervisor of Shops and Markets at the governorate’s Audit Department, said in a press statement that inspection teams toured several areas where violations had been observed. The campaign resulted in the issuance of multiple citations for breaches of shop and advertising regulations, as well as for the unauthorized use of public spaces.

Al-Ajiman noted that this marks the fourth such campaign and will be followed by additional inspection visits across all governorates under a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with relevant authorities over the coming weeks.

He stressed the importance of full compliance with municipal regulations governing commercial activities and advertising, affirming that the municipality will continue to enforce penalties against violators without hesitation.
