KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Kuwait Municipality said its field teams removed around 100 rainwater accumulations across the country on Wednesday and Thursday as unstable weather conditions continue to affect Kuwait.
In a statement, the Municipality’s Public Relations Department said all available resources, including machinery and equipment, have been mobilized to support relevant authorities in managing the impact of rainfall and maintaining traffic flow on major roads.
The operation included the deployment of eight water tankers, 52 compactors, and 12 water pumps across all governorates to remove standing water and clear tree debris from affected streets.
Officials said the efforts were part of ongoing coordination with government agencies to ensure road safety and restore normal conditions as quickly as possible following the recent weather fluctuations.
