KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: Kuwait Municipality has launched a demolition operation in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, targeting 67 dilapidated and non-compliant properties. The removal work is being carried out under the supervision of the Municipality’s Director General, Engineer Manal Al-Asfour, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure safety and urban compliance in the area.
On November 4th, the Municipality issued a two-week ultimatum for the occupants of 67 properties to vacate immediately, citing that the dilapidated structures were unsafe and posed a serious risk of collapse.
