KUWAIT CITY, Jan 31: The Kuwaiti and Gulf cultural and theatrical scene mourned the loss of playwright Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Suraie, who passed away on Saturday, after a life rich in contributions and creativity, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Al-Suraie left an indelible mark in the history of Kuwaiti theater. He was a pioneer of the theatrical movement in Kuwait, co-founding the Arabian Gulf Theater Troupe and contributing significantly to the establishment of institutional theater and the development of local and Gulf theatrical experience. He is considered one of the pillars of Kuwaiti and Gulf theaters, having contributed to the cultural movement and its advancement. Deeply saddened by this loss, the newspaper extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy on him and admit him to Paradise.
