KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: The Ministry of Education launched a survey on Saturday through the government’s "Sahel" application, inviting feedback on the new curricula from ministry employees, including teachers, supervisors, department heads, and school principals, as well as parents of students in public and religious schools.
In a statement, the ministry said the initiative is part of its plan to monitor the implementation of updated curricula and unify communication with the educational field through a single official platform for receiving feedback and suggestions. The ministry noted that parents and educational staff are key partners in enhancing curriculum development.
The survey is currently evaluating curricula for the first semester and will remain open until the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. Notifications via the Sahel application will be sent to all targeted groups, enabling users to submit comments and suggestions. These inputs will be analyzed by specialized educational teams using a scientific mechanism to ensure a sustainable approach to curriculum development.
The ministry praised the national curriculum development teams, including supervisors, teachers, and educators, for their dedication in preparing modern curricula that reflect Kuwait’s identity, instill national values, and meet international educational standards.
Officials emphasized that the survey reinforces transparency and encourages broad participation from the educational community. The outcomes are expected to directly contribute to sustainable curriculum improvements, supporting the ministry’s commitment to data-driven decision-making and modern educational practices aligned with Kuwait Vision 2035.
The Ministry of Education called on all partners in the educational field, as well as parents, to actively participate in the survey, underlining that advancing education is a shared national responsibility.
