Kuwait military, security chiefs review joint readiness and coordination

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Dirj Saad Al-Shuraian, chaired a meeting of the Supreme Military Committee on Tuesday to review coordination and joint cooperation among the country’s military and security agencies.

The meeting was attended by Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wuhaib, National Guard Undersecretary Lieutenant General Hamad Salem Al-Burjis and General Fire Force Chief Major General Talal Mohammed Al-Rumi.

The committee discussed ways to strengthen integration and unify efforts among the military and security agencies, with a focus on enhancing readiness and preparedness and improving coordination in carrying out joint duties and tasks.

A number of senior commanders and officials from the military and security agencies also attended the meeting.
