Kuwait Livestock Company celebrates 50th anniversary of its founding

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: The Kuwait Livestock Transport and Trading Company celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding by launching exclusive offers to customers in its showrooms in appreciation of their trust. 

The company pointed out in a statement that the idea of “Al-Mawashi” began with the awareness of a group of parents realizing the need to establish the company stressing its commitment to proceed in accordance with the vision established by the founders.

 “In continuation of the founders’ vision of performing the role for which the company was established, drawn up for itself and taken upon itself, it has developed a strategy to keep pace with the continuous development in the field of trade, manufacture, and sale of meat worldwide by modernizing its maritime transport fleet to be in line with international requirements and specifications for maritime transport.”

The company’s fleet currently consists of two ships — the Al-Masila ship, with a load of approximately 70,000 heads of sheep, and the Kuwait ship, with a load of approximately 11,500 heads of calves and and cows, or approximately 68,000 heads of sheep.

The company explained, “As a continuation of the company’s development of its activities and businesses locally and internationally, Al-Mawashi provides livestock transportation services to others, from South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, all the way to China, Turkey, and the Arabian Gulf.”
