KUWAIT CITY, Apr 27: Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has announced the launch of a new digital service to issue health licenses for food establishments, food transport vehicles, and vehicle inspection certificates through its digital licensing system.
The initiative, implemented in coordination with the General Traffic Department, is part of Kuwait’s broader push toward digital transformation and improved government services.
In a statement issued on Monday, the authority said the system is designed to facilitate services for business owners by reducing paperwork, eliminating the need for in-person visits, and speeding up processing times.
Officials added that the digital platform will enhance transparency and trust in administrative procedures while improving overall service efficiency and quality.
The move reflects ongoing efforts by Kuwaiti authorities to modernize regulatory systems and align public services with international standards of digital governance.
