KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: The launch of a Mini Goal academy was announced in Kuwait during a press conference attended by representatives of local and Gulf media outlets, along with several sports enthusiasts. The initiative reflects an organized effort to develop the Kuwaiti-origin sport and expand it toward broader professional horizons.

The conference outlined the overall vision and future direction of Mini Goal. Media personality Mohammad Akbar presented an overview of the game’s origins since its launch in 2017, highlighting its developmental stages, organizational and community-driven efforts, as well as events that helped strengthen its presence on the sports scene and establish it as a modern team sport.

International referee Abdulaziz Aman provided a detailed explanation of the game’s official rules and their application in accordance with international regulations. He emphasized that strict adherence to organizational standards is essential to the academy’s success and to reinforcing its professional identity in line with international competition benchmarks.

In remarks during the conference, Hassan Al-Khawaja, head of the Mini Goal Committee, described the academy’s launch as a pivotal milestone in the sport’s journey, noting that the primary objective is to build a strong base of young players and promote the culture of Mini Goal at the local level.
