MALAGA ,Oct 22,:The Kuwaiti judo team have successfully concluded their international training camp in the Spanish city of Malaga, spanning a duration of 10 days. This rigorous preparation is part of their readiness for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship, set to commence tomorrow, featuring participants from 81 countries.

Faisal Al-Hamad, the treasurer of the Judo Federation and the head of the delegation, expressed his satisfaction with the team's preparation for the tournament, recognizing its significance as a qualifying event for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Al-Hamad highlighted that the team not only achieved their objectives during the international camp but also engaged in an open international friendly tournament, which featured world champions from the Andalusian city. The primary aim of their participation was to immerse the team in the competitive tournament atmosphere and draw upon the valuable experiences of elite international players.

Underlining their commitment to the cause, Al-Hamad affirmed that the youthful Kuwaiti team have been thoroughly readied for the Abu Dhabi Championship, with ongoing efforts to prepare them for future participation in the Olympic Games.
