Kuwait Jails Citizen for a Year, Fines Him KD 10,000 for Insulting Allah and Quran on TikTok

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Kuwait’s Court of Appeals has sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to one year in prison and fined him KD10,000 for insulting God and the Holy Quran and violating public decency during a TikTok livestream.

The case was filed following a complaint by the Cybercrime Department, according to the Arabic report.

The court issued the sentence over the conduct during the broadcast.
