Kuwait Issues Fire Risk Alert for MagWallet, MagPac Devices

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 2: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait has issued a recall for specific electronic products sold between May and December 2023 due to safety concerns related to overheating.

The recalled items include MagWallet Card 5K (models PCI2300118 and PCI2300209) and MagPac Grip 5K (models SI-2300319 and PCI2300302). According to the ministry, the products may experience a temperature rise, which could potentially increase the risk of fire.

Consumers who purchased the affected devices are advised to stop using them immediately. The ministry stated that affected customers are eligible for a battery replacement or a refund through B2B Services General Trading Company.
