KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: Kuwait’s Department of Commercial Control and Consumer Protection has issued seven enforcement reports against cooperative societies and affiliated commercial stores in the Capital Governorate for multiple consumer protection violations.

The violations were detected during an inspection campaign conducted by the department’s Capital Inspection Supervision team.

Inspectors found several breaches, including failure to display prices clearly, failure to provide a list outlining exchange and return conditions, and failure to place labels on goods identifying their country of origin.

Following the inspection, seven enforcement reports were issued against the establishments involved.

The violators were subsequently referred to the Commercial Prosecution for further legal action in accordance with Kuwait’s commercial and consumer protection regulations.
