KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: The Ministry of Interior announced the launch of a new digital service enabling Kuwaitis and expats to verify the eligibility of recruiting domestic workers through the Sahel application.

The initiative, introduced by the Ministry’s Human Resources and Information Technology Sector in collaboration with the Nationality and Residency Sector, aims to streamline recruitment procedures and prevent errors in the application process.

According to the ministry, the service allows users to confirm whether a visa has already been issued for the same domestic worker before initiating recruitment procedures. This step is designed to minimize duplication of requests, reduce administrative rejections, and ensure smoother processing of applications.

Officials emphasized that the new feature is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance digital services, improve efficiency, and support the government’s strategy for integrated e-governance.
