KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: Kuwait’s Interpol has received a request from its counterpart from an unidentified state for the arrest of six expatriates believed to be residing in Kuwait, reports Al-Qabas daily. All the men are wanted in connection with their relationship to the terrorist organizations. The source explained the Criminal Investigations Department has formed a team of CID men to arrest the suspects and hand them over to the concerned country. In a related development, the daily quoting a reliable source said Kuwait’s Interpol has requested to arrest a number of people wanted by law for funding and arming DAESH. The daily added, the names of these wanted criminals surfaced during interrogations with member of the recently busted terrorist cell.

Saudis arrested: Sulaibiya securitymen affiliated to the General Department for Criminal Evidences arrested three Saudi nationals against whom final judicial verdicts for imprisonment were issued. According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the first suspect was sentenced to two-year imprisonment followed by deportation after completion of the term. He was also sentenced to four-year imprisonment followed by deportation for another case. Criminal Investigations Department was carrying out investigations to find and arrest him after he had escaped from Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station following his arrest. The second suspect was sentenced to three-year imprisonment followed by deportation after completion of the term. Based on Decision No. 93/2015, the third suspect was sentenced to four-year imprisonment followed by deportation after completion of the term. He was also sentenced to one-month imprisonment followed by deportation for another case. Officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences stressed their keenness to continue exerting efforts to arrest fugitives against whom judicial verdicts have been issued but are yet to be enforced.
