KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Misfer Al-Adwani, chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday with security sector heads to assess the country’s internal security posture and review operational performance across ministry departments.

Held in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, the meeting focused on reinforcing legal compliance, strengthening field deployment, and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.

At the outset, Maj. Gen. Al-Adwani conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, commending the dedication of security personnel in preserving national safety and stability.

He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to applying the law equally to all, stressing that fairness and consistency are fundamental to strengthening public trust and upholding the rule of law.

Al-Adwani emphasized the importance of inter-sector coordination and full adherence to the approved field deployment plan. He called for an intensified security presence at vital sites and public facilities to ensure rapid response capabilities and continuous public safety.

Highlighting the need for transparent governance within the Ministry, Al-Adwani directed the implementation of an open-door policy to improve internal communication and promote a supportive work environment among leadership and staff.

Discussions also focused on enhancing the efficiency of public services. The meeting reviewed proposals to simplify procedures and integrate modern technologies into service delivery systems, aiming to raise overall performance and citizen satisfaction.

Maj. Gen. Al-Adwani instructed field units to intensify traffic monitoring efforts and enforce road safety regulations, stressing precision and professionalism in carrying out security responsibilities.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Ministry’s strategic goal to uphold Kuwait’s internal security and stability, in accordance with the directives of the nation’s senior leadership.
