Kuwait Interior Ministry, Army General Staff Discuss Enhanced Security Coordination

KUWAIT CITY, April 17: Senior officials from Kuwait’s security and military leadership met on Friday to discuss strengthening coordination and operational integration between key state institutions.

Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wuhaib met with Lieutenant General Khalid Dirj Saad Al-Shuraian at the Ministry of Interior headquarters.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Army’s General Staff, focusing on improving joint readiness, operational efficiency, and response to evolving security challenges.

Officials also discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of deeper integration between military and security agencies to support national security systems and maintain stability in the country.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and intensified joint efforts to keep pace with current security developments and enhance overall performance efficiency.
