Kuwait Interior Minister Inspects Airport T1 After Reported Drone Incident Damage

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 3: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection tour of Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport following reported damage from a drone incident attributed to Iranian aggression. During the visit, he assessed the extent of structural and facility damage, and was briefed by officials on the incident and ongoing response measures. He stressed the need for a thorough technical evaluation and swift implementation of necessary procedures in coordination with relevant authorities, while commending the rapid response and safety measures taken by on-site teams. In a related visit, the Ministry of Interior Undersecretary, Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahaib, also inspected the site to review the damage and evaluate the impact on airport infrastructure.
