Kuwait Intercepts Four Drones as Security Forces Remain on High Alert

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 29: The Kuwait National Guard announced on Sunday that it had successfully intercepted and downed four drone aircraft within areas secured by its task force, as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard critical sites.

Official spokesperson Brigadier General Jadaan Fadel Jadaan said in a press statement that the operation was carried out within the Guard’s designated responsibility zones, underscoring its readiness to counter emerging aerial threats.

He noted that the action comes ضمن heightened security measures aimed at protecting vital infrastructure and maintaining national stability amid regional tensions.

The spokesperson urged the public to strictly follow safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities, emphasizing that precautionary measures remain in place.

He further confirmed that the National Guard is operating in close coordination with the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, police, and the General Fire Force, all of which remain on high alert to respond decisively to any threats targeting the country’s security and sovereignty.
