Kuwait Intercepts 4 Missiles, Destroys 20 Drones in 24 Hours

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: The Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems detected and intercepted four hostile ballistic missiles over the past 24 hours, successfully destroying them.

In a statement issued by official spokesperson Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, the ministry said that 23 hostile drones were also detected within Kuwaiti airspace. Of these, 20 were destroyed, while three fell outside the designated threat area without causing any damage.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces reaffirmed their full readiness to defend the country, emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding national security and preserving the nation’s sovereignty amid ongoing regional tensions.
