Kuwait Intercepts 17 Hostile Drones, No Injuries Reported

KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Kuwait’s Armed Forces have intercepted and dealt with 17 hostile drones within the country’s airspace over the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by the official spokesman of the Ministry of Defense.

Spokesman Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the drones were handled in line with established procedures, with no material damage or human injuries reported.

He added that the Engineering Corps’ Inspection and Disposal Group responded to 15 separate shrapnel reports during the same period, also following approved safety protocols.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining high levels of readiness and vigilance, emphasizing continued efforts to safeguard national security and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
