Kuwait Intercepts 13 Drones, Confirms No Casualties After Attacks on Oil Facilities

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 19:  Saud Al-Otaibi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, announced that 18 hostile drones were detected across Kuwait’s airspace over the past 24 hours.

He confirmed that air defense systems successfully destroyed 13 drones, while three others were downed outside the threat zone.

Al-Otaibi added that two drones targeted aircraft belonging to operational units affiliated with Kuwait National Petroleum Company, resulting in limited fires. However, no human casualties were reported.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, emphasizing readiness to respond to any further threats.
