KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Kuwait's Armed Forces said they intercepted one ballistic missile, five cruise missiles and 33 hostile drones during an Iranian attack, while four naval personnel were injured after a Kuwaiti naval vessel was struck.
The Ministry of Defense's official spokesman, Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said the Armed Forces detected and successfully intercepted the incoming threats from this evening until now.
He said the Iranian attack targeted several vital and civilian facilities across the country. Falling missile and drone shrapnel caused material damage at multiple locations.
Al-Otaibi added that one vessel of the Kuwaiti Naval Force was hit during the attack, injuring four members of the Armed Forces. The injured personnel received medical treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
The Armed Forces said they remain fully prepared to carry out their duties with continued vigilance and operational readiness to safeguard the country's security and protect citizens and residents.
