Kuwait Intercepted Two Hostile Ballistic Missiles

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: Kuwait’s Armed Forces detected and intercepted two hostile ballistic missiles that entered Kuwaiti airspace at dawn on Sunday, the Ministry of Defense said.

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said the missiles were dealt with according to approved operational procedures.

No material damage or injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their continued readiness and commitment to carrying out their duties to protect Kuwait’s security and safeguard the safety of citizens and residents.
