KUWAIT CITY, Apr 19: Kuwait Municipality has stepped up inspection campaigns across all governorates, issuing dozens of violations and hundreds of warnings as part of ongoing efforts to enforce cleanliness and road occupancy regulations.

The Municipality’s Public Relations Department said inspection teams are conducting continuous field tours targeting residential and industrial areas to remove violations, clear obstructions, and improve the overall urban appearance. The drive aims to strengthen oversight and ensure compliance with municipal laws.

In the Capital Governorate, supervisory teams carried out extensive inspections that resulted in 78 violations related to cleanliness, road occupation, and street vending, along with 971 warnings, pledges, and stickers issued to offenders. Authorities also removed 58 abandoned vehicles during the campaign.

Mishari Al-Mudayan, General Supervisor of Public Cleanliness and Road Occupancy at the Capital Municipality branch, said the intensified field operations are intended to detect violations early and take strict legal action against offenders.

He emphasized that supervisory teams will continue regular inspections without leniency, warning that all violations of public cleanliness and road occupancy regulations will be dealt with firmly under the law.
