KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: Kuwait has unveiled a massive plan to install hi-tech digital power meters, in replacement of the old ones, reports Al-Qabas Arabic newspaper.Bids will invite early next year (2018) to buy 800,000 smart power readers, said Electricity and Water Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for customers affairs Dr Misha’a Al-Otaibi.In a statement to the newspaper, he said that the digital power meters have a technical feature to adapt to the Kuwaiti environment.
